Meet the Founder
Robert Cottone
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Robert embodies the quintessential Brooklyn Italian spirit. From a young age, he was captivated by the allure of Manhattan, drawn to the vibrancy of city life. Despite family expectations, he followed his dreams with the support of his godmother, venturing to the city to pursue his passions.
At 18, he embraced the challenges of city living, securing a modest studio apartment in the burgeoning Lower East Side. Driven to become a chef, he honed his skills and earned a culinary arts and business management degree from The New York Restaurant School. While excelling in the culinary world, a year into his journey, he realized his true desire for more direct interaction with patrons, leading him to explore his second passion: fashion. Madison Avenue beckoned.
Through perseverance, Robert secured a position with the prestigious Personal Shopping VIP program at Saks Fifth Avenue's flagship store. From there, he immersed himself in the realm of luxury fashion, working with renowned brands like Versace, Michael Kors, Max Mara, and Celine. Opening flagship locations across New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, he cultivated invaluable expertise in the industry.
Seeking a new chapter, Robert pursued his passion for haute couture, transitioning into the floral and event industry as the Director of Retail and Business Development at L'Olivier Floral Atelier. Leveraging his fashion connections, he maintained partnerships with esteemed fashion houses, high society circles, top restaurants, and luxury hotels. Encouraged by his clients, he embarked on his own entrepreneurial journey, giving rise to RC Inc—a comprehensive, full-service operation. His unwavering commitment to excellence drives him to oversee every detail, working hand-in-hand with his team to ensure impeccable results.
Giving Back and Sustainability
Our dedication extends beyond aesthetics; we prioritize sustainability in everything we do. Following the example of our esteemed client, the 1 Hotel Brand, we prioritize local sourcing to minimize our carbon footprint. We actively strive for zero waste, repurposing all our plants in nearby parks and green spaces. Additionally, we ensure eco-conscious disposal by offering complimentary pick-up for event materials, redirecting them to hospitals and nursing homes. Our focus is on making a positive impact rather than merely gaining social media recognition.
